OUR STORY
CHRISTINA KARIN is a Chicago based fashion brand started in 2013. Known for responsible and approachable luxury womenswear, the brand was created to reflect a fearless and modern DNA. CHRISTINA KARIN focuses on designing effortless essentials and elevated mix and match styles for the modern woman.
In 2019 the label expanded to its first Retail Flagship location and Design Headquarters in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago. And in 2023, the brand opened its second location on Armitage Avenue in the heart of Lincoln Park. The brand plans to continue its growth by expanding to multi-national cities across the globe by 2025.
THE FOUNDER
Christina Karin Monley is the designer, founder and creative director of Chicago-based womenswear label CHRISTINA KARIN. Having spent many years working both in the corporate world as well as fashion industry, Christina’s goal was to create a label that truly spoke to women and the diverse roles they share. Christina’s mission has always been to empower regardless of background, age, or circumstance, and being a working mother of two, she has refused to allow societal standards to define or limit her style choices.
She launched her eponymous line in 2012 with an 8 piece capsule collection that was picked up by over 40 wholesale stores worldwide. Since then the brand has evolved to offer everyday wardrobe essentials and investment pieces for modern women seeking a timeless yet original and fearless approach to style.

Each collection is designed with the intention of empowering women regardless of background, age or circumstance through a sophisticated and fearless style that is a metaphor for life. CHRISTINA KARIN aims to frame the complexity of the wearer so that she becomes the best version of herself with each step — A boldly confident woman who is shaping her own destiny one day at at time.
THE DESIGN STUDIO
At the heart of our design process is our Chicago headquartered storefront and studio, where customer feedback is actively utilized and designs are meticulously conceptualized from initial sketch and drape, to sampling and final production.
CHRISTINA KARIN designs are created from the highest quality fabrications and premium sustainable materials including supima cotton, silk, and tencel. Our collections feature custom designed prints and hand-drawn artwork with influence from global art and culture.

Thankfully, we have grown our business with the support of incredible customers and a highly driven team, and the brand is now available in stores across the globe as well as our own flagship location in the heart of Chicago’s trendiest neighborhood. With global plans in the works, we are far from our goals, but enjoy each day creating such a meaningful brand that helps inspire women to be the best version of themselves. ”
