It's here. My Top 5 of the Week. Summer is in full swing and what better time for a few not to miss items. I've got you covered with some of my favorite's of the moment.
Sunscreen not included.
1. Tropical Graffiti Print
This custom Christina Karin print is everything Summer is about. Back by popular demand, the subtle pink tone is just the kind of "PINK" I can get into. I call it "neutral pink." The kind a grown woman can love and wear. The graffiti is edgy but still feminine with decorative pineapple motiff details for an eye-catching touch. It's lightweight, fun, easy to wear and comes in a variety of cutting edge styles.

2. In Montmarte by Sue Roe
Ok, so I am a nerd at heart and love to read even though it's a total luxury these days (KIDS). This book is a gem if you're looking for a sweet beach read. It delves into the lives of some of the world's most well known artists on the cusp of fame as young creatives in Montmarte. So, if you're like me and wish you were a fly on the wall, here's your book. If I didn't have little ones I would have finished it ages ago. Check back with me by Xmas.
3. "Incognito" hat
by Eugenia Kim
A chic hat for all your Summer 'grams. Eugenia Kim's signature 'Honey' hats are loved by everyone from Beyoncé to Blake Lively. They're made from black wool-felt, and playfully embellished with the words 'Incognito' and finished with a grosgrain ribbon band.
4. Takashi Murakami at the Museum of Contemporary Art
A Chicago exhibit you must see. My son thought we were at Disney and my husband thought we were at Art Basel. Total win.
Whimsical and full of modern themes, "The Octopus Eats his own Leg" is a journey into Murakami's vibrant anime-inspired characters. Japanese artist, Takashi Murakami has blurred the boundaries throughout his career between high and low culture, ancient and modern, East and West."
Definitely take the whole family because it is short, sweet and colorful and full of inspiration.
5. Dinner at Café Robey
My neighborhood joint, and newest Hotel to hit Bucktown, The Robey, has the most delicious menu and drinks, not to mention artsy vibe. My Summer fave (literally I crave it constantly and almost had it the other day at a breakfast meeting. I said almost) is the Squid Ink Fettucini with Clams. It's garlicky, herby perfection that quite frankly edible dreams are made of. Pair it with a glass of white for that "Bon Appetit" Summer moment.
Now that you have my Top 5 of the week, what are you waiting for, winter? JK. (bad joke)
