NYFW Re-cap

Now that the dust has settled from all the craziness of NYFW, we're rounding up our favorite trends from the FW 16 runways and streets of NYC.
When it comes to beauty looks, luxe metallics were the name of the game. Liquid metal nails and face embellishments were some of our favorite new beauty trends this season. For hair, the sleek wrapped braid offers a creative alternative to the classic style. The deconstructed bun was also a star, with hair swept away from the face and behind the ears. Finally, the "wet look" is back and we're loving how it edges up any look in an instant.
Neutrals dominated the runway this season, offering a variety of silhouettes and layering options for every type of girl to interpret the trend in her own way. Jackets were seen everywhere, especially textured versions like leather, velvet, and fur to take the Fall staple to the next level. Black and white monochromatic ensembles added edge and sophistication to many collections, showing this timeless trend is here to stay.
